Laurie Hughes

About

Born in Toronto, Canada, Laurie came to the US for college and graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville SC with a Bachelor’s in French and minor in English.

Laurie eventually spent 22 years in the ministry as a pastor's wife and missionary. 4 of those years were in Brazil and due to that she speaks fluent Portuguese. She has 6 children and 15 grandchildren.

Laurie is also a Dale Carnegie course graduate:

(Public Speaking course, Sales Advantage course, and Leadership Training for Managers course) which helped her develop people skills.

Past experience as a high school teacher, Reliv Nutritional Supplement Distributor, and sales trainer has all contributed to her real estate career today.

Laurie has achieved the rank of #1 producer at her Brokerage firm 7 years in a row (one of those years there were more than 230 agents).

She has also appeared on the HGV show “House Hunters” which aired December 26, 2019. It was entitled “A Space for Three and a Menagerie in SC”

Laurie attended high school in Burlington, Ontario, Canada with the actor, Jim Carrey.
